Nashville Ronald McDonald House

The Nashville Ronald McDonald House is one of our favorite charities. Brian Edwards, CBL partner serves on the house board as well as 2 of the fundraising committees. Our company maintains the grounds for the house at no charge, and we provide trucks and trailers for the annual “pull tab” collection days to collect and haul the tags to the recycler.

BOMA Nashville

Brian Edwards, CBL partner also serves on the community affairs committee for Building Owners and Managers Association.  This committee raises funds and then selects smaller local organizations and teams up with them with in-kind gifts as well as cash donations.

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Since 2015 Color Burst Landscapes has participated in Boyle Investment’s fundraising campaign for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, contributing thousands of dollars for this worthy cause.

Percy Priest Elementary

In the late summer of 2018, Color Burst Teams did a fall cleanup on the school’s grounds including trimming, mulching, built 3 fairy gardens, and planted their sign bed and entrance pots with the school colors before the opening of the 2018-2019 school year. In October, teams built fall displays at their doorways and decorated the entrance steps with mums.

Earth Day

Each year since 2008, CBL teams set up 4-6 booths at commercial office buildings and campuses to hand out free tree samplings and educate tenants on the importance of plants, trees, and healthy landscapes. This has involved into a resource for everyday folks to ask the experts for advice on their own lawns and landscapes.

BOMA Nashville

CBL has 2 memberships in the Building Owners and Managers Association of Nashville.  Both Brian Edwards and Jonathan Artz are actively involved and serve on committees. BOMA provides education and networking for commercial office owners and managers while including service providers.

Institute of Real Estate Mgmt

CBL is a member of the Nashville Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management.  This group provides education, destinations, and networking for commercial property managers and service providers.

As an active member of the Tennessee Chapter of Community Associations Institute, we gain educations, relationships, networking, and certifications with community managers and service providers.

NALP

Color Burst has been a member of the National Association of Landscape Professionals for over 25 years now.  This organization provides leadership, education, and networking throughout the landscape industry.  Brian Edwards, CBL Partner serves as a “Trailblazer” which mentors smaller up-and-coming landscape owners by visiting their facility or hosting them at ours.

This organization keeps members involved in the fast-growing Nashville Business Community while providing educational opportunities and networking among a diverse group of business representatives.

Corey Williams represents CBL as an active member of the Tennessee Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. This group of builders and service providers participates in industry educational programs, advocacy, workforce development, communication, and networking.
